These lifeforms are liquid based. Thet are able to shift into any shape. They are found in the Gamma Quadrant. The Founders are a group within them.
In there natural state they ate liquid. They have to return to this state every sixteen hours or they begin to deteriorate. They have the ability to mimic human personalities. They could morph into electric devices and be operational. They could mimic fire as well. Their thoughts could not be read by Betazoids.
